The Gazetteer is an advanced web application designed to immerse users in a comprehensive exploration of countries worldwide. Leveraging auto-detection of the user's location upon loading, the app offers an interactive experience, allowing users to delve into a wealth of information about any selected country. Key features include detailed country profiles, geographic boundaries, current weather conditions, informative Wikipedia articles, recent earthquake activity, public holidays, breaking news, and a currency converter. This project exemplifies my expertise in creating data-driven, user-centric applications using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript/Ajax, PHP cURL, and jQuery, demonstrating a keen ability to integrate diverse APIs for a holistic informational platform.
